Stakeholder Board

Role of the Stakeholder Board

The role of the Stakeholder Board is:

  • To approve strategic decisions about service delivery
  • To monitor the compliance of the service with SLA conditions
  • To monitor the library budget, in particular ensuring no unauthorized overspend occurs and assessing cases made for additional spending
  • To provide a forum for feedback on service delivery between users, stakeholders and the library service.
  • To performance manage the service
  • To identify and monitor risks and opportunities for the service

Membership

Membership of the Stakeholder Board is made up of:

  • Representative from each of the five host Trusts
  • Representative from NESC
  • Representation from library users
  • Other stakeholders as appropriate (eg universities, SHA)
  • Library Service Manager
  • Deputy Library Manager
  • Representative of other library staff
