Healthcare Databases

The Healthcare Databases are tools to help you find references and abstracts of  journal articles. They are available to all NHS staff with an NHS Athens account.

The databases include:

• BNI (British Nursing Index)
• Cinahl
• Embase
• Health Business Elite
• HMIC
• Medline
• PsycInfo

To search the healthcare databases please go to the Health Information Resources and login with your NHS Athens account. Your Knowledge Support Librarian can help you with training to get the most out of the databases, put together your search strategy or perform a literature search for you.
